Kitten season is here, the time when cats begin to give birth to countless kitten litters. Typically beginning in late spring and continuing throughout summer, kitten season stretches the resources Heartland's has when the influx of unwanted cats and kittens crowd the shelter and foster homes.
Donations help provide supplies and critical care for cats and kittens coming in to the shelter during this time, as well as providing supportive care supplies for foster families caring for kittens for the shelter until they are big enough to come back for adoption.
